Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Engineering / Software / Mathematics / Electrical / Electronic / Automation Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years or above relevant working experience in programming in automation equipments
- Familiar with motion control principle, an experience with Advantech, Leadshine & Googoltech Software will be a plus
- Expertise in Visual Studio languages such as C#, C++, etc
- A good team player with good communication, Independent, responsible, well-organized and strong analytical skills
- A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualise processes and outcomes
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
- Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
The responsibility:
We are looking for a creative Software Engineer to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture.
- Develop automation software, verify company products software features, compatibility, and performance, including soak, robust and stability test
- Preparation of technical and operational documents. Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
- Work directly & closely with customer during the software development process
- Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
- Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
- Continuously improve customer site automation software with technologies and methodologies
- Actively participate in related project meetings with Teams throughout the development and test process to help guide the delivery of a quality automation solutions
- Providing written knowledge transfer material
